Section 1: General Science, Pakistan Studies and Islamiat

Section 2: English
(You will have 20 minutes to complete Section 2). In Section 2, you will be asked to read and translate a passage from English into Urdu or vice versa. The passages are mainly taken from either books or magazines on general topics such as travel, computer technology, science etc. The total number of words in each passage will vary between 150-200. The questions asked in these sections focus on understanding and translating from one language into another: punctuation is irrelevant and capitalization of first letters is not necessary, but both aspects should be kept consistent throughout all answers.
Section 3: General Knowledge
This section consists of 30 questions and lasts 30 minutes. It covers Pakistan Studies, English Language, Current Affairs, and Mathematics (algebra, probability & statistics). The cut-off marks of General Knowledge in all tests are 60% for general category and 50% for reserved categories. Questions asked from each topic vary with every test. Here is a list of topics from which questions may be asked
Section 4: Arithmetic
30 Questions. This section is designed to test candidates’ power of calculation as well as their knowledge of elementary arithmetic operations and relationships, factors and multiples, percentages, simple and compound interest. The questions will test candidates’ ability in mental arithmetic through arithmetical operations with whole numbers up to ten-digit numbers along with a variety of charts. Candidates should note that all questions require only mental calculation (no written answers) unless otherwise specified in each question. Answers must be exact; rounding off answers is not permitted.
Section 5: Reasoning
This section measures your ability to solve problems using reasoning skills. It consists of 30 questions. Candidates are expected to answer correctly a minimum of 16 questions in order to pass; therefore, it is important that you attempt every question within reason. Each question has four choices, only one of which is correct. Select your choice by clicking on it. Be sure to click on Next after each question so that you can go directly on to the next question and avoid taking time answering a subsequent question inadvertently. Each question has four multiple-choice answers but only one answer is correct.
Section 6: General Security Awareness
60 questions; 4 hours. The purpose of general security awareness is to ascertain your overall knowledge on security related topics. Candidates must have a good grasp of cyber laws and ethical hacking guidelines. In addition, they should be aware of other security concerns like health-related security, smartphone threats, and various cloud services.
