Vacant Positions:
Both male and female applicants are eligible for this recruitment. The WAPDA Career Advertisements describe the Disabled Person quota in FATA and Gilgit Baltistan.
Law Graduates, Graduation, MBA/Master’s Degree holders, Matriculation Pass, and Retired armed forces persons are eligible for this recruitment. Interested applicants should read the advertisement in order to understand eligibility criteria.
The initial appointment will be on supervision for a year. The degrees must be recognized by the universities.

What is WAPDA?
It was established as Water and Power Development Authority under 1973 Water and Power Development Authority Act (WAPDA Act) by merging Water and Power Development Department (WPDD), Pakistan Electric Power Company Limited (PEPCO) and Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited.

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) is an organization which undertakes all activities related to power generation, oil & gas exploration and distribution. On 13 April 2013, a Nationalization order was passed by Government of Pakistan, converting all assets and liabilities of these companies into those of Pakistan State Oil (PSO). Around 926 employees were inducted into PSO with effect from 1 June 2013 and further induction is expected as per requirement due to induction/re-induction orders issued by Ministry of Energy. These employees were selected on competitive basis through NTS/BPSC Recruitment/Recruitment through Contractual Staffing Agencies etc.
