The University of Chitral (UC) is a public university located in Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan which was established in August 2002 by Ordinance No IX of 2002 issued by the then Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan Leghari.
Management Sciences
The Management Sciences department at UC provides services to various departments and offers a degree program in industrial management. For example, Staff Payroll & HR, Student Recruitment, Central Library and Human Resource Development are a few departments which are administered by our department. Furthermore we also manage two other faculties: Department of Information Technology and Department of Business Administration. Currently we have over 22 full-time employees working at UC from different areas; from Pakistan to Russia, France to Sweden. The numbers don’t stop there! From campus jobs as part-time Computer Operators or Office Assistants to full-time professorial positions such as Professors, Research Officers and Associate Professors.
Life Sciences
The Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics offers a bachelor’s degree in life sciences. The faculty offers courses on environmental management, geology, physical chemistry, biology, biotechnology and mathematics. It also has laboratories that help students study biology, biotechnology and analytical chemistry. The faculty offers advanced degrees from masters to doctorate level.
Social Sciences
Faculty member wanted to teach sociology and political science courses, with optional classes in gender studies. Qualifications: Masters or Ph.D. Preference given to candidates who have a record of published research. Compensation: Competitive salary, including health benefits and retirement plans, commensurate with experience.
