Federal Directorate of Education FDE Jobs 2022
How to get a job with the Federal Directorate of Education in 2022
The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is responsible for the Federal Government’s coordination, development and implementation of education policy. The FDE was established in 1962 through the merging of the Federal Department of Education and Training (FDT) and the Federal Department of Technical Education (FDTE). The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is responsible for enhancing Nigeria’s system of basic education, including early childhood care and education, primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, curriculum and textbooks development, assessment, accreditation and certification across Nigeria’s 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
Step 1 – Find out what vacancies are available
The first step towards getting that dream job is knowing exactly what jobs are available. If you don’t see any positions listed on their website, then it’s time to dig deeper. There are lots of ways you can find out about vacancies – from informal sources such as word-of-mouth and networking events, to more formal options like reading through websites and government reports (such as those published by World Bank). Step 2 – Understand what you need: It may seem obvious, but it’s easy to forget that there are specific requirements for each role. Depending on where and when you want your job, different credentials will be needed for different roles. Before you start applying for jobs, make sure you know exactly what each position needs from its applicants.
Step 2 – Acquire the qualifications required
In order to be considered for appointment into any vacancy at FDE you must meet their criteria. This criteria is determined by FDE itself and is set out on their website. As such, make sure you read through their pages in order to find out exactly what you need before applying for any post. Remember that your application will not be considered unless it meets all FDE’s strict requirements.
Step 3 – Apply for positions
The FDE, as one of Nigeria’s leading government agencies, is always on the lookout for talented candidates. However, since demand for their positions outpaces supply, they are diligent about monitoring current application processes and ensuring that no opportunities are missed. If you’re interested in working at FDE, be sure to stay up-to-date on their employment vacancies through blogs and social media channels where they will advertise their openings. When you find an opportunity that seems promising, consider submitting your resume directly through their website or emailing it directly to HR so they can track your application accordingly. Chances are, if you impress them now – and only if you impress them now – they’ll remember your name when a future position opens up!
Step 4 – Wait for interview process
The FDE is constantly accepting applications, so there’s no need to apply right away. When 2022 rolls around, apply for an entry-level position as an Assistant Educational Historian. This position is low-paying and offers little room for advancement. Take it anyway and use it as your springboard. As you rise through the ranks, use your resources at work to move ahead of your co-workers until you are eventually named Education Minister—the highest level possible within FDE’s hierarchy. Aiming too high will make you look more ambitious than qualified, but going far enough that you start looking promotable is what will allow you some freedom on The Inaccessible Island .
Step 5 – Get selected and wait for date of joining
When you passed all steps you will be selected, and then you just have to wait for your joining date. After your selection, you can either be employed in some government department or agencies or according to your case and test result, government departments will call you for an interview. In every federal department which has any post falling vacant, there is an advertisement published by Pakistan Public Service Commission (PPSC) regarding selection procedure for particular post. These ads are available on its official website. You can also see these on internet sites like ad_councilpk and naijjobs, pakistan times etc.
