Accommodation facilities
There are two categories of student accommodation facilities available on campus, which are temporary and permanent ones. The students will be provided with fully furnished rooms in hostels during their admission year and will be given a hostel room key as well. There is separate building for boys and girls where girls’ hostel is right behind academic block with approximately three thousand seats capacity. Similarly, there is separate building for boys’ hostel, which is situated opposite to girls’ hostel building and has approximately one thousand seats capacity. Both of these buildings have sufficient number of rooms in their ground floors so that they can accommodate maximum number of male and female students.
Academic calendar & timings
The academic year consists of two semesters and starts from early September. The first semester ends by end of January/February. However, in some institutions it is made flexible to meet up with commercial demands. There are no holidays during 1st semester but there are more holidays and offs in 2nd semester which is from mid-March to mid-August.
