What is Wafaqi Mohtasib?
The Wafaqi Mohtasib (WMA), or Federation Ombudsman is a constitutionally established institution to represent and protect your rights as a citizen of Pakistan. The primary function of an ombudsman is to look into complaints about any injustice done to you and help you get what you are entitled. The procedure is free of charge, quick, and most importantly, unbiased. If your problem cannot be resolved at a provincial level, you can bring it up to National level where in matters that have interprovincial implications can be raised with concerned authorities from different provinces.
