The Security Guard position is responsible for providing security at our hospital and reporting and responding to emergencies as they arise. Duties include patrolling hallways, monitoring entrances and exits, locking/unlocking doors, checking in/out patients using visitor logs, watching monitors for alarms and camera footage, monitoring access control systems such as card readers and barcode scanners, performing desk checks of incoming deliveries using scanner guns or swipe cards, following compliance procedures (ex: background checks) on visitors in accordance with company policy; ensuring safety of all customers while observing high levels of customer service.
