Who can apply?
You don’t need any prior experience or degrees, but you must be at least 16 years old. To apply, you’ll have to sit an exam and get accepted into one of these educational facilities. You can only apply if you live in one of these provinces: Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab. Although candidates are evaluated based on their performance throughout high school and taking tests like ETEB and SAT-3, having O-level Physics is a plus; it’s good for your application as well as helps when it comes time to start studying here.
How do I get an appointment letter?
If you are interested in working at PMA model secondary school, then there is something you need to know. Getting an appointment letter takes time and if you want your name on their table of all eligible candidates then you will have to wait. However, waiting doesn’t mean sitting idle. You can still apply while waiting.
Scholarship Opportunities
The most competitive positions at the academy (i.e., naval officers) require candidates to possess outstanding results on their FSc and/or A-Level examinations. However, there are opportunities to work at various levels within PMA even if you don’t have stellar grades. For example, non-commissioned officers must have five years of experience before they can pursue officer training—though how much experience you gain depends largely on your field of interest.
When do I have to get my reports done?
At most organizations, you’ll need at least 3 hours between when you want to finish work and when your reports are due. You’ll also want some buffer time if you think something could go wrong or if you’re just not as fast as you hoped. If, for example, your deadline is 8pm and you need 2 hours just to do your actual reports, and another hour of prep beforehand (an hour of writing/reading material and an hour reviewing formatting instructions), that leaves 1 hour of extra buffer time on top of those times: 5pm would be safe enough in most cases.
Is it possible to transfer from one class/year to another class/year at the beginning of my career?
Yes, it is possible. The procedure is not very difficult. You need to submit an application along with your NOC from your previous institution/school. Additionally, if you have done any internship/practical training during your 3 years of studies then you need to attach that as well with your application. Finally, before submitting your application visit website and see if there are any vacancies available in that class or year. If there are open positions then you can apply for it; but if there aren’t any vacancies don’t bother applying because they will reject your application right away.
What is the dress code at PMA Model Secondary School?
The dress code at PMA Model Secondary School is dependent on whether or not you are enrolled as a Cadet. The most important things to remember while you’re attending classes is that your haircut should be short and neat, and your face should be clean-shaven. A good rule of thumb is that, if it’s something you wouldn’t wear into an office environment, don’t wear it to class. In addition, uniforms may be replaced with plain clothes such as dark trousers and shirts during special events and ceremonies. Students are also allowed to keep their own accessories such as earrings, bracelets, chains etc., but they must be kept under control so that they do not become a distraction.
