Join the Pakistani Army in 2022
The Pakistan Army will be hiring between 50,000 and 60,000 people in 2022. If you want to join the Pak Army in 2022, it’s important to know what to expect and how to get ready for the Pakistani Army exams. Here are some things to consider when you’re thinking about joining the Pak Army in 2022.
What is a Pakistan Army
The Pakistan Army is a branch of uniformed military personnel of Pakistan responsible for land-based military operations. The Pakistan Army came into being when Pakistan became independent from Britain on 14 August 1947, joining India and becoming part of major united British Raj forces. Following Partition, it was based on both sides of present-day India-Pakistan border at that time. It has been involved in four wars with neighboring India and one with Afghanistan. Other smaller but continuous conflicts include internal security situation and a limited conflict with Bangladesh-based militant groups. The army has been called upon to help put down several revolts in its history including one by Taliban insurgents that began in 2002; however, relationships with several terrorist organisations have begun to improve after efforts were taken to deny them safe havens within Pakistan.
Position of Pakistan army
The President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, Secretaries to President, Defence and Interior Ministries, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Chairman National Security Council (NSC), Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Inspector General Frontier Corps – FC(IGFC) and their equivalent and subordinate officers of Commander XI Corps – Commandant National Guard Bureau – DG Rangers & Inspector General Police are eligible for honorary commission as Colonel on completion of prescribed training.
Benefits of Pakistan army jobs
Job security and benefits are two major benefits of joining Pakistan’s armed forces. Military service is often a lifelong career, as it’s extremely rare for personnel to leave before retirement. Plus, with medical and dental care, housing and low-cost transport options on base, salaries are generally competitive with other occupations that offer these services to employees. Pak Army Jobs 2019 might not be glamorous work, but there is a lot of value associated with a job that comes with national recognition and many privileges that can help make you feel secure. The government covers all education costs for military children up to age 16; spouse education allowances are also available for married officers.
A brief history
Pakistan was founded in 1947, and as a result of communal conflict between Hindus and Muslims, it separated from India. Since its creation, Pakistan has been both a member of NATO and an ally of China. Pakistan has been influential in both U.S.-Soviet Union relations, and U.S.-China relations throughout history. Today, Pakistan is regarded as one of America’s closest allies due to cooperation on various national security issues, including counter-terrorism operations along their shared border with Afghanistan—which is also home to Taliban forces who continue to fight against foreign occupation of Afghanistan. India continues to view Pakistan as its primary adversary—and fought three wars with Pakistan over territorial disputes since independence.
General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq era
General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, who was Pakistan’s army chief from March 1976 to August 1988, used his control over Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and a government inquiry commission to divert blame for Bhutto’s murder away from himself. He appointed General Mirza Aslam Beg as head of an official inquiry into Bhutto’s death. The general conclusion reached by that tribunal is still disputed by many, but it absolved Zia of any involvement.[32] The Supreme Court eventually ordered a retrial to be held under Chief Justice Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui. By then, however, Benazir Bhutto was able to make an electoral deal with Nawaz Sharif and became Prime Minister.
General Pervez Musharraf era
General Pervez Musharraf assumed power as president of Pakistan after seizing control of a bloodless coup d’état on October 12, 1999 and then became Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee after giving presidential assent to amendments made in Article 58(2)(b) and Article 227. Chief Executive Order (now known as Revival of Constitution of 1973 Order), issued by General Musharraf, revived all amendments made to Pakistan’s constitution during Nawaz Sharif’s second term. Through Legal Framework Order (LFO), all deposed judges were reinstated. He also removed Supreme Court Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah along with other members of judiciary who took part in agitation against him. Pending elections for national and provincial assemblies were postponed indefinitely.
