Do I need to take an exam or test?
There is no entrance exam or test for applying to be a teacher in Pakistan. All you need is your Bachelors’ degree. However, certain jobs require specialized training, such as for a physics teacher (the minimum qualification is a masters). Internships can help you decide if education is really where you want to spend your time and energy. How long is the application process?
As with any government job, it can take some time. If you apply for an elementary teacher position, you’ll have to go through six steps in order to complete your application and be considered for an interview. Then comes your fingerprinting; after that is your on-line testing which consists of one multiple choice test followed by two essay tests.
